When you decide to generate your own energy, there are many incentives available to help you get up and running. Once you are up and running, you may also get a regular income stream via the Government's Feed-in Tariff (FIT) scheme, and the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). When we meet to discuss your options we’ll find the right solutions for your individual needs.
The Feed In Tariffs (FiTs) are those payments that you receive directly from your Energy Provider (EON, Scottish Power etc) for producing electricity. Both commercial and domestic systems are eligible.
The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) encourage more people to use renewable energy by with quarterly payments for qualifying installations which provide heat and / or hot water. Both commercial and domestic systems are eligible.
The Energy Savings Trust for Scotland offer interest free loans of up to £10,000. These loans as designed to help offset the initial costs of installation with either the FIT or RHI payments covering the repayment period.
