Solar Photovoltaic panels use the sun’s light to generate electricity. The more sunlight there is, the more energy the panels will produce. When you have a solar PV system installed, it will automatically feed the power you’ve generated to your appliances and business operations, so a lot of the power you use during the day will be free.
Unless installed with battery technology, during the evenings or if you use more energy than you produce, you will automatically buy from your supplier. You won’t notice any disruption or change, just smaller bills.
Reduced electricity bills
A pollution free way of generating power
Economical where connection to the grid is difficult or costly
Incentives are available in the form of the Feed-In tariffs (FITS) scheme
Off grid electricity supply
Environmentally friendly – a typical home solar PV system could save over a tonne of carbon dioxide per year.
Requires little maintenance
With ever increasing energy prices, you can now make the most of solar energy when you add a Solar Battery Storage System as these store unused electricity that you have generated through the day, to then use at night when the majority of the demand usually takes place. Battery technology is available for new installations and can be retrofitted to an existing array.
Battery solutions are most commonly used to store electricity from Solar PV. Renew Green Energy are one of only a few authorised installers of Tesla battery technologies.
For centuries we have been harnessing the Suns energy to heat water. To provide a simple analogy, think about a garden hose which has been left in the sun. Now imagine that same water being pumped slowly through a specifically designed system, and stored for hot water which can be used for heating your home. Fluid inside solar collectors on your roof absorbs irradiance from the sun. It’s pumped along pipes to your hot water cylinder, heating up the water to a pre-set temperature. The collectors can be fitted on the roof, in the roof and using A frames fitted to the side of roofs or on flat roofs.
A solar thermal system will work best in summer, when it can heat up to 90% of the hot water you use. Many can switch off all other hearing sources for several months.
Save on your bills. Sunlight is free, so once the initial installation is paid, your hot water costs will be reduced.
Reduce your carbon footprint. Solar hot water is a green, renewable heating system and will reduce your carbon dioxide emissions.
Requires very little maintenance.
Delighted with the various parts of the process, the follow up to my initial contact, the survey of our property, the explanation of the details therein, the estimate & willingness to listen. The installation team were extremely professional, very efficient and really nice folk who you would be happy to have in your houseMr D Wallace, Eshiels
May I just say how pleased we are over all with the finished work; your staff have been exemplary and a pleasure to have around. I will certainly recommend your business and appreciate all support givenMr Mells Oldhanstocks
Renew Green Energy installed our solar panels, last year. Once on site, the installers were efficient and considerate. There were a couple of software glitches that needed to be sorted, but we had someone assigned to our case and they stayed in good contact with us until the issue was resolved. Happily generating clean energy, as I type.Bec Owen
I wanted to deal with a local company who had a proven track record and Renew Green Energy ticked these boxes. All works associated with the biomass installation was carried out on time and to a very high standard. The after sales care that Renew supply has been second to none.Alexa Smith
